Limestone particles become airborne and escape the quarry at Lafarge Aggregate Fox Valley Quarry and from Ozinga in South Elgin, Illinois. Trucks exiting from the properties are often not tarped or cleaned. The airborne dust is a nuisance and a hazard to the neighboring homes, bike paths, running paths, forest preserves, roads and parks. The machinery at LaFarge and Ozinga produces excessive noise. Please join us in our struggle to demand that LaFarge, Ozinga, and the truckers be good neighbors by controlling the dust and the noise pollution.
