Who are we?

We are a volunteer group of concerned citizens looking to improve our community and environment by eliminating off-site dust and noise caused by Holcim/LaFarge Fox River Stone, Ozinga, and truckers in South Elgin, Illinois. Join us.

Our Mission.

Our mission is to convince Holcim/LaFarge Aggregate Fox River Quarry, Ozinga, and the truckers to become good neighbors by controlling the dust and the noise exiting their properties and vehicles. Only then will they be an asset to our community.

There is pending litigation against Holcim-Mamr, Inc, F/K/A Lafarge Aggregates Illinois, Inc., located at 1300 State Ret 31, South Elgin, IL 60177.
The Attorney General can use your complaint filings NOW! The next hearing is scheduled for April 25, 2025.

Report at a South Elgin Village Board Meeting.

Citizens may address the South Elgin Village Board on items listed on the agenda in the Public Comment section of the Order of Business.  Citizens wishing to address the Village Board on non-agenda items may do so at the Addresses from the Audience section of the Order of Business. The time limit for Public Comment and Addresses from the Audience is limited to three minutes.
